Using AhnLab V3NET Antivirus and Antispyware with XenData6 Server on Windows Server 2008

Updated Aug. 6, 2013

Introduction
When installing antivirus protection on an archive running XenData6 Server, it is important to choose an antivirus (AV) solution that has been certified by XenData. Both XenData6 Server software and AV software use file system filtering techniques and there may be undesirable interactions if you use an AV product that has not been certified.

Certified Options
The Real-time Virus Scan and Real-time Spyware Scan functions of V3Net are certified for use with XenData6 Server software running on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Note that manual or scheduled scans must not be performed on the logical drive under XenData control. However, they may be run on other volumes, such as the C: drive of the archive server.

The Port Filter, Network Intrusion Prevention and IP Addresses Filter functions have not been tested for compatibility.
