New Migration Service – LTO to Public Cloud

We are offering a migration service from LTO to cloud from our California facility. Simply send us your LTO cartridges and we will take it from there.

An organization could purchase or use an existing XenData system and undertake the migration on their own premises. However, it is often more cost effective and less disruptive to outsource the migration to XenData. We offer a streamlined service for migrating large quantities of archived content to the cloud including to AWS Glacier tiers and the Azure Archive Tier.

Supported LTO Generations: LTO-5, LTO-6, LTO-7, LTO-8 and LTO-9

Supported LTO Formats: LTFS, XenData TAR, Active Circle, Atempo, Cache-A, DIVA including AXF

Supported Public Clouds: AWS, Azure, Seagate Lyve, Wasabi

Create Proxies during Migration

If you need proxies of your video files, we can create these as we perform the migration. The proxy files may be used with XenData Media Portal to provide a convenient way to browse, search and download the migrated content, as illustrated below.

Media Portal can be run in the cloud or on an on-prem server, creating a hybrid storage system.
