FS Mirror is file system mirroring software. It is an upgrade to XenData Archive Series software for LTO. Use it to clone any file-folder structure accessible to the archive server.

Uses include:

• Synchronize files and folders stored on shared disk storage on your network to the LTO archive to create a backup copy.
• Create a watch folder on shared disk storage. FS Mirror automatically moves files from the watch folder to the archive.
• When you have the Cloud File Gateway extension installed, use it to replicate content to cloud object storage.

Easy to Configure

Replication and sync tasks are easily configured using the XenData scheduler. The basic steps are:

• Define a name for the task.
• Define when and how frequently the task will run.
• Define the level of logging that you require every time it runs.
• Enter the path or browse to the source file system.
• Enter the path or browse to the root of the destination file system.
• Select the files to be included, for example "*" will include all files.
• Select files to be excluded, for example "*.mxf" will exclude all files with names ending in .mxf
• Select the characteristics of the task such as whether to include sub-folders, empty folders, etc.

If you enable logging, a report will be created each time the task runs, as illustrated below.
